On the verge of a breakdown at her sister's wedding, Harvard-bound Harper Sloane (Sarah Polley) finds the love she's been looking for in a bohemian photographer named "Connie" Fitzpatrick (Stephen Rea). The only catch is that he's as old as her parents. As the affair escalates, Connie schools Harper in the art of photography -- and in what his "protégé" takes for genuine love. But his methods could backfire when his true colors are exposed.
