The 1973 film Black Caesar proved so popular that the gangster from that movie, Tommy Gibbs (Fred Williamson), was resurrected from the dead for a sequel released later that same year. Gibbs springs into gun-blazing action when the Mafia kidnaps his ex-wife (Gloria Hendry of Live and Let Die). Soon, Gibbs's father (Julius Harris, also from Live and Let Die) and Reverend Rufus (D'Urville Martin, repeating his role from Black Caeser) join him.
