The third season of the hit show continues to follow Emmy winner Patricia Arquette in the role of psychic medium Allison Dubois as she balances life and motherhood with her ability to see dead people and look into the future. Allison struggles in working as a supernatural detective within the conservative criminal justice system, but builds credibility as she uncovers clues to grisly crimes from victims beyond the grave.
