A public defender (Peter Weller) is torn between doing the right thing and fattening his wallet when he's offered big bucks to defend a scumbag drug dealer who shot a crooked cop. Ultimately, his conscience wins out and he does the right thing, teaming up with a rogue cop to uncover and bring to justice a ring of corrupt officers. Based on a true story, Shakedown also features Sam Elliot and Patricia Charbonneau.
