During WWII in the deserts of North Africa, a wounded British soldier (Anthony Steel) takes refuge with a Bedouin tribe, who nurse him back to health. After marrying the sheik's daughter (Anna-Maria Sandri), the scrappy Brit leads the tribe on risky sneak attacks against the Nazis.
