Macklin (Alec Baldwin) is a professional thief-for-hire. He'll steal anything for anyone who can pay. When he gets hired to do a simple job and then realizes he's been set up by the local ghetto chief Pointy Williams (Michael Jai White), Macklin is determined to get even. The two men get caught in an escalating and increasingly dangerous tit-for-tat with no end in sight. Now it's no longer business...it's personal.
